H.H. Sheikh Hamad bin Mohammed Al Sharqi, Supreme Council Member and Ruler of Fujairah, underscored that nurturing a strong, united, and content family forms the foundation of a cohesive society—one that takes pride in its national identity, upholds positive values, and actively contributes to sustainable economic progress.
These remarks came as H.H. Sheikh Hamad received Sana bint Mohammed Suhail, Minister of Family, at Al Rumaila Palace. During the meeting, the Ruler of Fujairah was updated by the Minister on the Ministry’s plans, programmes, and initiatives designed to empower Emirati families and reinforce their stability. He noted that family affairs are among the foremost priorities of the UAE government and its visionary leadership.
Sheikh Hamad commended the Ministry’s efforts to realize government goals and vision, particularly in strengthening family relationships and enhancing social solidarity—key factors that reinforce the family’s role in advancing national development. He also reiterated the UAE’s leadership commitment, under the guidance of President His Highness Sheikh Mohamed bin Zayed Al Nahyan, to continuously support the social sector, with a special focus on Emirati families as the cornerstone of nation-building.
In turn, Minister Sana Suhail expressed her profound appreciation for the unwavering support of the UAE’s leadership and the attention given by the Ruler of Fujairah. She praised his dedication to overseeing relevant programmes and initiatives and his strong encouragement of all efforts that advance family welfare and stability.
