Held under the patronage of His Highness Sheikh Ahmed bin Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum, Second Deputy Ruler of Dubai, His Highness Sheikh Ahmed bin Saeed Al Maktoum, President of the Dubai Civil Aviation Authority, Chairman of Dubai Airports, and Chairman and Chief Executive Officer of Emirates Airline and Group, along with Her Highness Sheikha Latifa bint Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum, Chairperson of the Dubai Culture and Arts Authority (Dubai Culture), attended the ‘Al Ameen Forum 2025’.

Aligned with the ‘Year of Community’, the forum carried the theme ‘The Security of the Community’, emphasizing its standing as a premier intellectual platform that explores the concepts of community and societal security in the UAE through a forward-looking perspective.

In her keynote address, Her Highness Sheikha Latifa bint Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum emphasized the vital importance of culture as the first line of defence for communities. She explained that a society deeply rooted in cultural awareness is naturally secure and able to think critically amid the overwhelming flow of digital content.

Her Highness highlighted that the current mission is to elevate culture beyond traditional definitions, transforming it into a vibrant tool that shapes human consciousness and emotional connection. A community that celebrates creativity, preserves its identity, and contributes positively to meaningful content creation is equipped with the most powerful tools for safeguarding its intellectual and social well-being.

Her Highness also visited an exhibition held alongside the forum, where she learned about several initiatives and interactive services translating the idea of community security into tangible practice. Numerous prominent entities participated in the exhibition, demonstrating innovative approaches to strengthening societal safety and cohesion.

Organized by the ‘Al Ameen Service’, the Al Ameen Forum reinforces the national vision by turning the goals of the ‘Year of Community’ into practical and intellectual discussions. It underlines the view that unity and societal cohesion form the foundation of the UAE’s sustainable and comprehensive security framework.

During the event, the ‘AI Screen – Al Ameen’ service powered by artificial intelligence was launched as part of the Al Ameen Service. This digital platform enhances public engagement by enabling citizens to communicate seamlessly with the service, transforming public spaces into interactive safety hubs where people can report incidents and receive real-time awareness messages. The system represents a major advancement in promoting community involvement in security matters.

The digital interface uses cutting-edge technologies allowing an animated avatar to interact naturally with users, enabling confidential reporting of incidents or suspicious activities with the option for direct virtual communication with service representatives. Built with AI-driven emotional and facial analysis, the platform adjusts interactions to enhance accuracy and supports multiple languages with live voice translation for broader accessibility.

Celebrating values of unity, participation, and mutual responsibility under the ‘Year of Community’, the event was attended by several high-ranking officials, including His Excellency Sheikh Zayed bin Hamad bin Hamdan Al Nahyan, Chairman of the National Anti-Narcotics Authority; His Excellency Sheikh Abdullah Al Hamed, Chairman of the National Media Office; Her Excellency Hessa bint Essa Buhumaid, Director General of the Community Development Authority in Dubai; and other senior dignitaries and decision-makers.

A series of high-level speeches and panel discussions explored the many aspects of community security, featuring perspectives from government leaders on safeguarding social stability and enhancing collective responsibility.

Lieutenant General Talal Humaid Belhoul Al Falasi, President of Dubai’s State Security Department, described the forum as a reflection of the leadership’s commitment to redefining security with a forward-thinking vision. He emphasized that community security begins with personal awareness, strengthens through solidarity, and is essential to protecting national achievements in an ever-evolving world.

As part of the sessions, His Excellency Sheikh Abdullah Al Hamed noted the significant role of media and influencers in shaping public awareness, stating that ethical communication is fundamental to maintaining a secure society. Her Excellency Hessa bint Essa Buhumaid addressed the importance of strong families and social relationships as the cornerstones of societal resilience. His Excellency Marwan Ahmed bin Ghalita, Director General of Dubai Municipality, discussed urban safety, stressing that well-designed communities foster belonging and security through spatial connectivity. Similarly, His Excellency Omar Bushahab, Director General of the Dubai Land Department, highlighted Dubai’s diversity as a strength, emphasizing the goal of transforming it into enduring social unity.

The accompanying exhibition showcased several notable initiatives, including the Dubai Foundation for Women and Children’s family protection services, the ‘Furjan Dubai’ project promoting neighborhood connections, and the Dubai Health Authority’s ‘My Blood, for My Country’ campaign supporting national solidarity. The Community Development Authority and Dubai Culture and Arts Authority presented programs focused on deepening cultural identity and social cohesion.

Additionally, the Digital Dubai Authority highlighted its contributions to safeguarding digital spaces by developing cybersecurity standards and protecting online identities. The Security Industry Regulatory Agency (SIRA) also participated, presenting awareness and training programs designed to nurture youth responsibility, preserve heritage, and empower women.

The forum concluded by reaffirming that community security extends beyond its traditional role, encompassing intellectual, cultural, and digital readiness—built on societal awareness, social coherence, and collective accountability.
