President His Highness Sheikh Mohamed bin Zayed Al Nahyan has accepted an invitation from His Royal Highness Prince Mohammed bin Salman bin Abdulaziz Al Saud, Crown Prince and Prime Minister of the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia, to take part in Expo 2030 Riyadh. The global event is set to run from 1st October 2030 to 31st March 2031, under the theme “The Era of Change: Together for a Foresighted Tomorrow.”
The formal invitation was conveyed through a written letter received by Sheikh Shakhboot bin Nahyan Al Nahyan, Minister of State. The letter was handed over during a meeting with Sultan bin Abdullah Al Anqari, Ambassador of Saudi Arabia to the UAE, held at the Ministry of Foreign Affairs headquarters in Abu Dhabi.
During the meeting, both parties highlighted the strong historic ties and brotherly relations between the UAE and Saudi Arabia. They discussed ways to further enhance cooperation and joint efforts across various sectors to advance mutual interests and promote development for the prosperity of their peoples.
