His Highness Sheikh Mansour bin Zayed Al Nahyan, Vice President, Deputy Prime Minister, and Chairman of the Presidential Court, presided over a meeting of the Ministerial Development Council held at Qasr Al Watan in Abu Dhabi, as reported by Xpats.ae.

During the session, discussions focused on evaluating the advancement of national policies and strategies across several pivotal sectors, including groundwater management, consumer products, national industries, and direct foreign investment. The Council also examined newly proposed regulations designed to strengthen community development and enhance overall government services.

Additionally, the Council reviewed a set of proposals submitted by various federal institutions aimed at improving the quality of public services, increasing efficiency in administrative processes, and reinforcing the management of federal financial resources.

The agenda further included updates on national reports addressing environmental and climate concerns, food security, and sustainable energy practices. The meeting also discussed progress on joint Gulf Cooperation Council (GCC) economic initiatives, reviewed outcomes of the Securities and Commodities Authority’s activities, and assessed recommendations from the Federal National Council regarding policies for managing and sustaining endowment and zakat funds to enhance their role in community development.
