US President Donald Trump praised the United Arab Emirates for its instrumental role in supporting his proposed peace framework aimed at ending the ongoing conflict in Gaza.

Speaking at a summit of world leaders in Egypt, Trump opened his address by proclaiming a new era of “peace in the Middle East,” as he formally introduced his plan to halt the Gaza war and lay the groundwork for regional stability.

“This is a day that people throughout the region and across the world have been working toward, hoping for, and praying for,” Trump said. “Over the past month, we’ve witnessed achievements that many considered unimaginable. With the historic agreement we’ve just signed, the prayers of millions have finally been answered.”

He described the moment as the dawn of “a new and beautiful day,” emphasizing that the reconstruction efforts would begin immediately. “What we celebrate tonight is more than just the end of war in Gaza—it marks, with God’s blessing, a renewed beginning for the entire Middle East,” Trump added. “From this point on, we have the opportunity to develop a region that is strong, stable, prosperous, and united in rejecting terrorism once and for all.”

Declaring that “the war in Gaza is over,” Trump noted that humanitarian supplies were already flowing into the region, including hundreds of truckloads of food, medical resources, and essential goods. He also extended his gratitude to the cooperating nations, stating, “I want to express my tremendous appreciation to the Arab and Muslim nations.” Trump specifically thanked the United Arab Emirates, Egypt, Türkiye, and Qatar for their pivotal roles in achieving the breakthrough, while acknowledging Egyptian President Abdel Fattah El-Sisi for his hospitality, warmth, and leadership in facilitating this peace effort.
