Representing the UAE President, His Highness Sheikh Mohamed bin Zayed Al Nahyan, His Highness Sheikh Mansour bin Zayed Al Nahyan, Vice President, Deputy Prime Minister, and Chairman of the Presidential Court, took part in the “Sharm El-Sheikh Peace Summit.” The event was jointly chaired by Egyptian President Abdel Fattah El-Sisi and U.S. President Donald Trump.
The summit’s primary goal was to strengthen international cooperation and support efforts to implement a cessation of hostilities in the Gaza Strip. Discussions centered around promoting peace, regional stability, and humanitarian relief for affected civilians.
Several heads of state, prime ministers, and official delegations were in attendance, alongside representatives from regional and international organizations. The global participation reflected a collective commitment to advancing diplomatic solutions and ensuring the protection of civilians in conflict zones.
The UAE delegation accompanying Sheikh Mansour included H.H. Sheikh Tahnoon bin Zayed Al Nahyan, Deputy Ruler of Abu Dhabi and National Security Advisor; Suhail bin Mohammed Al Mazrouei, Minister of Energy and Infrastructure; Dr. Sultan bin Ahmed Al Jaber, Minister of Industry and Advanced Technology; Mohammed Hassan Alsuwaidi, Minister of Investment; Khalifa Shaheen Al Marar, Minister of State; and Hamad Obaid Al Zaabi, UAE Ambassador to Egypt, along with several senior officials. Upon arriving at the summit venue, Sheikh Mansour was welcomed by President Abdel Fattah El-Sisi and later greeted U.S. President Donald Trump, with official photographs marking the occasion.
