His Highness Sheikh Mansour bin Zayed Al Nahyan, Vice President, Deputy Prime Minister, and Chairman of the Presidential Court, held separate meetings with Recep Tayyip Erdoğan, President of the Republic of Türkiye, and Mohammed Shia’ Al-Sudani, Prime Minister of the Republic of Iraq. The bilateral discussions took place on the sidelines of the Sharm El-Sheikh Peace Summit hosted by the Arab Republic of Egypt.
During the meetings, His Highness and the two leaders explored avenues for strengthening cooperation and advancing joint initiatives between the United Arab Emirates and both Türkiye and Iraq. The conversations focused on enhancing strategic partnerships in areas that align with the shared interests and development goals of the respective nations.
The discussions also underscored the significance of the summit in bolstering international efforts aimed at implementing the agreement to bring an end to the conflict in the Gaza Strip. The leaders highlighted the importance of pursuing peace and stability in the broader region and addressed several pressing issues of common concern.
The meetings were attended by His Highness Sheikh Tahnoon bin Zayed Al Nahyan, Deputy Ruler of Abu Dhabi and National Security Advisor, along with members of the official delegation accompanying Sheikh Mansour.
