The Ministry of Human Resources and Emiratisation (MoHRE) has introduced its new artificial intelligence-driven system, “Eye,” during its participation in GITEX Global 2025. This innovation represents a major leap forward in automating and expediting the issuance of work permits by enabling the AI to analyze and process applications with minimal human involvement, except in special scenarios that require manual oversight.

The “Eye” platform enhances administrative efficiency and minimizes human errors through its advanced AI Agent, which verifies essential documents submitted for work permits. It evaluates materials such as personal photographs, passport copies, and educational certificates to confirm their validity and accuracy before approval.

Rashid Hassan Al Saadi, Acting Assistant Undersecretary for Labour Market Services at MoHRE, stated that this development is part of a comprehensive suite of digital transformation and artificial intelligence projects aimed at raising the standards of governmental services. He emphasized that the system highlights MoHRE’s advanced digital infrastructure, its leadership in supporting national strategies, and its commitment to integrating AI technologies across all areas of the labour market.

Al Saadi added that “Eye” delivers measurable improvements in work permit processing by accelerating approvals, reducing operational costs, and enhancing the accuracy of documentation, ultimately creating a smoother and more efficient customer experience. In addition to the “Eye” initiative, MoHRE is also presenting several pioneering digital transformation solutions at GITEX 2025, including the Work Bundle, Ask Data, Forecasting Future Jobs and Skills, Smart Safety Tracker, and the enhanced MoHRE smart app, all of which reinforce its position as a leader in government digital services.
