The Ministry of Human Resources and Emiratisation (MoHRE) has introduced a comprehensive range of Domestic Worker Services on the Work Bundle digital platform, in collaboration with the Federal Authority for Identity, Citizenship, Customs and Port Security; Emirates Health Services; the Telecommunications and Digital Government Regulatory Authority; and the Department of Health – Abu Dhabi.

This initiative supports the UAE’s Zero Government Bureaucracy Programme, which seeks to remove unnecessary administrative procedures, streamline services, and enhance customer satisfaction while boosting government efficiency and reaffirming the UAE’s position as an attractive global hub for living and working.

The newly launched services include options for issuing, renewing, and cancelling residency visas for domestic workers across the UAE. They also cover medical examination procedures, all of which can be accessed through the unified digital platform ‘Work in UAE’ (workinuae.ae) under the Work Bundle system. Users can complete transactions digitally using a centralized platform designed to simplify and accelerate the process.

Customers can conveniently manage domestic worker residency procedures by completing a standardized online form that captures all required information, such as identification details and passport copies. Through the platform, users can electronically sign employment contracts, schedule medical examinations, receive test results, and obtain Emirates ID and residency visa documents within a streamlined and fully digital workflow.

Khalil Ibrahim Khoori, Undersecretary for Labour Market and Emiratisation Operations at MoHRE, commended the close collaboration among participating entities that enabled the integration of Domestic Worker Services into the Work Bundle. “This initiative embodies the objectives of the UAE’s Zero Government Bureaucracy Programme, guided by the vision of His Highness Sheikh Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum, Vice President, Prime Minister and Ruler of Dubai,” he stated. Khoori emphasized that this rollout reflects the continued success of earlier initiatives, such as the introduction of domestic worker services through the ‘Invest in Dubai’ and DubaiNow platforms, confirming the UAE’s ongoing efforts to lead in delivering world-class, digitally integrated government services driven by innovation and artificial intelligence.

Major General Suhail Saeed Al Khaili, Director-General of the Federal Authority for Identity, Citizenship, Customs and Port Security, highlighted that the initiative showcases the government’s new strategic direction aimed at offering integrated service bundles. “The Work Bundle sets a benchmark for inter-agency collaboration and unified service delivery,” he said. “It strengthens the UAE’s global reputation for excellence in government services while ensuring a smoother, faster, and more secure experience for residents and citizens.”

He further explained that reducing the number of service channels and processing steps enhances community wellbeing by saving customers both time and effort, improving their satisfaction, and enabling them to focus their resources on other areas of life. This transformation also eases the administrative burden on government entities and aligns with the national goals established under the Zero Government Bureaucracy Programme.

Al Khaili noted that expanding the Work Bundle to include domestic worker-related services benefits a wide range of residents and citizens, ensuring simple and transparent transactions that protect the rights of all parties. He praised the strong coordination among government authorities that made this electronic integration possible, resulting in a groundbreaking platform model for future digital initiatives in the UAE.

The Work Bundle offers users a seamless and innovative digital ecosystem, providing a centralized interface for all worker-related services through a single application point. Key benefits include a unified application form, centralized payment system, reduced paperwork, and removal of the need for in-person visits. These enhancements are supported by advanced data exchange systems and full integration across government networks, including the Government Services Bus (GSB) and UAE PASS, reinforcing proactive service delivery and an enhanced digital experience for customers across the nation.
