Global Village, the UAE’s most iconic multicultural destination for shopping, dining, and entertainment, is ready to greet visitors to its latest theme, ‘A More Wonderful World,’ as it launches its highly awaited 30th season today (Wednesday) at 6pm. As it celebrates three decades of uniting cultures and creating memorable experiences, this milestone season promises guests from the UAE and abroad an extraordinary blend of cultural discovery, family fun, and global entertainment.
Fernando Eiroa, Chief Executive Officer of Dubai Holding Entertainment, emphasized the significance of this achievement, stating to Xpats.ae: “Global Village has transformed from a local initiative into a global spectacle, standing as the UAE’s most successful entertainment and tourism venue. Last season, we welcomed more than 10.5 million visitors, underscoring Dubai’s pivotal role as a leading entertainment destination. As we commemorate Season 30, guests can once again expect an unmatched variety of attractions, shopping opportunities, dining experiences, and live entertainment from all around the world.”
Season 30 will run until 10 May 2026 and is anticipated to be the most exceptional yet, featuring 30 pavilions that showcase over 90 cultures globally. The venue will offer more than 3,500 retail outlets, 250 dining options, over 40,500 live shows, and 200 rides, games, and attractions—all designed to deliver the ultimate guest experience. Dining highlights include the popular Restaurant Plaza, which boasts 11 two-storey restaurants serving diverse international cuisines and offering views of the lively Falcon Stage located beside the Carnaval funfair.
The newly upgraded Fiesta Street returns this year with expanded areas and an even more vibrant atmosphere, while the Railway Market has been rebranded as the Dessert District—offering an elevated dining and social experience. The reimagined Asia Boulevard, formerly known as Road of Asia, further enriches the culinary and retail landscape, while Happiness Street introduces a captivating new canopy, adding artistic flair and comfort to the visitor journey. Families and thrill-seekers alike can look forward to over 200 rides and attractions in Carnaval, including exciting new additions such as York Bikes, Toronto Tornado, Desert Dashers, Cape Glider, Rio Rocket, and The Little Wonderers. The all-new Dragon Kingdom invites guests on an immersive adventure through 11 themed rooms, while the revamped Horror Hotel (formerly House of Fear) returns with a bold new design and terrifying experiences.
Another anticipated addition is the ‘Gardens of the World,’ situated between the Egypt and Iran pavilions, showcasing vibrant floral displays and miniatures of international landmarks. A special Arabian Square cake monument commemorating the 30th anniversary will provide a delightful photo opportunity for visitors. Guests can enjoy more than 40,500 shows featuring 450 world-class performers from over 30 nationalities. The season introduces the adrenaline-charged ‘Fast Live Spectacular,’ a new stunt show combining drifting, motorbike jumps, pyrotechnics, and dazzling effects. The Main Stage will host internationally acclaimed acts such as Retumbar, Red Hot Chili Pipers, Mayumana, Burn the Floor, Dhol Foundation, and Swan Lake, alongside original shows like Haunted House, Boom Bollywood, Slam, and Scatty Chapati. Young audiences can enjoy performances of Care Bears and PJ Masks at the Kids Theatre.
Adding to the night-time magic, a fresh fire and light show near Dragon Lake will captivate spectators, complemented by a new lighting display at the Main Stage featuring enchanting festoon lights. As a cherished tradition, Global Village’s signature fireworks will illuminate the sky every Friday and Saturday at 9pm. Enhancements in parking, signage, and navigation, including new Way Finding screens, ensure a smooth and enjoyable visit. Tickets, available via the official Global Village App, website Globalvillage.ae, and all entry points, remain at the same prices as previous seasons. Weekday tickets apply Sunday to Wednesday (excluding public holidays), while Any Day tickets provide flexibility for all days including holidays. Tuesdays continue to be dedicated to families and ladies, with exceptions for public holidays.
